I don't really get it. Custom avatars get resized to 65x65 pixels if they're larger. But if you use one of the preset Anima artwork avatars then they're all 96x96 pixels.

I mean, obviously I would like to have a larger custom avatar (because let's face it Haman Karn looks even better in higher res) but it's not even about that, mostly I'm just puzzled at the disrepancy.

I think you can override the resizing if you host the image externally and link to it.

edit: nope, I linked a 96x96 image on photobucket and it was still resized.
