Hey all,

I want to add an Alius to my game but I have a characetr with Nemesis. Would the Alius immediately view the character as evil?

Thanks all,
Kaiden

I don't think there's anything that says a Nemesis-user has to be evil.  In fact a Nemesis-user that has Élan with Edamiel for example would fit pretty well, making the character effectively aligned with C'iel.

You can be a good Nemesis-user in just the same way as you can be an evil Ki-user.

Now if this character actually IS evil, you might have an issue.

I think high inquisitor Justina uses nemesis.

From the look of her abilities and the flavour text in Dominus Exxet, I'd have to agree.

It's a perfectly logical power for an Inquisitor.

Justina:  "Use your devil-worshipping supernatural powers against ME?!  I think not!"

She is also stark raving mad, near omnicidal maniac.

edit: Oh I'm sorry, let me try that again.

She's a stark raving mad, near omnicidal SAINT.

I didn't say I wasn't in love.

Even though that's a very likely fatal relationship.

I don't think she laughs that much. She seems pretty depressed about the state of the world (in her head).

My name is Arikail, and I approve this message. Now prepare to be purified, blasphemers!  Grin

*slicey slicey*

Edit: Fixed as pointed out by Raybras. It was late, and been a while since I read her write-up.

Since when? She has those arm blades that are distinctly stabby.

That's if she doesn't shoot you with her fanservice crucifiction bow first.

I don't think she laughs that much. She seems pretty depressed about the state of the world (in her head).

Her background states that she gets secret pleasure in the hunt and that nothing makes her feel better than killing sinners.

While it also says she 'usually acts in a professional manner', I still think of her as a giggler when it comes to actually finishing off a 'sinner'.  :)

Anima is one of the morally grayest games I've played. They go to great lengths to make it clear that light does not equal good, darkness doesn't equal evil, and so on. I would take that into consideration. However, I'd also take into consideration that anima is filled with imperfect humans (or near-humans), and many people will jump to conclusions. My darkness-based wizard aligned with Erebus, for example, is a creepy, but mostly good dude, but it's a struggle to convince people of that Smiley
