Okay me and my friend got into an argument about this one.  The changes in Dominus, yea this should have already been figured out by now but w/e, we were arguing the whole deal with Ki Control and Use of Ki.  My point is that ANYTHING on the Ki chart require both and not just techniques, he claims that you only need Use of Ki to access things on the chart.  A clarification here would be pretty fantastic.

Also to add to this, does Ki Control specifically allow you to accumulate Ki?  Or is it Use of Ki that allows a character to accumulate.  This whole argument has spawned off of the Improvised Combat Techniques Ki Ability.  I'm honestly okay with a one turn accumulation, but not if it would require like 3 or 4 turns to accumulate, I believe that would require the ability to accumulate.

Wrong sub-forum.  This is for Anima: Tactics the miniatures game.  Your question belongs in the RPG section.

(since this thread is going to be moved, I might as well start answering)

Dominus Exxet character sheet ki tree is buggy. It is not an errata on corebook dependencies and it doesn't even portray requirements of ki abilities introduced in this book correctly. So most things that don't depend on other abilities require Use of Ki as before.

Ki Control allows you to accumulate Ki, as per description in the rulebook. However, Improvised Techniques provide you with a special, limited version of accumulation that allows you to execute improvised techniques. But I would say regular techniques still require Ki Control.

I am fairly sure that most Ki Abilities only require Use of Ki, not Ki Control. Ki Flight, Healing, etc. do not require Ki Control. You only need Ki Control to learn Ki Techniques. Without Ki Control you have some limits on how much Ki you can use per round, but most abilities do not need much.

Others answered this better in the other one you started.
