This is not an Anima RPG or related product, but fans of Anima (like myself) this may be of interest.
Tenra Bansho Zero is a Japanese Fantasy RPG that made a big splash in the Japanese RPG scene around 2000. It's a gonzo anime style setting and ruleset, with a light system as a base with a few add ons like PTA style fan mail and a karma point system. In particular, it is designed for fast and furious pacing with an entire campaign being played in just a few sessions.
This is the first Japanese RPG of any real size to be translated into English (except Maid). Andy started translating the RPG 7 years ago. He has worked hard to retain the cultural nuances of the text whilst opening it up to a Western audience. Andy's blog at
http://www.tenra-rpg.com/blog contains all kinds of insights in translating the book as well as teasers of the RPG itself.
The result looks pretty fantastic and is now ready to print. Luke Crane (of Burning Wheel, Burning Empires and Mouse Guard fame) has done the layout and the art is by Junichi Inoue himself as well as other manga artists. The core rules are even taught in manga form.
Anyway, it went up of KS four days ago looking for $9K for printing and it has already hit $35K. The KS page is here:
