[Fujizaka]

Ok I am writing this a week after my first game so don't expect any great detail (things like distances and what was rolled etc etc are all mostly out of my Head.)

I Played Dark faction using Shinigami (with Life Potion), Harod (with smoke cloud), Dark C, and Faust (with Supernatural weapon).

 My Opponant had Light faction using Khaine, Kronen (with supernatural armour), Evangeline (with life Potion) and Dereck (with Clock of Cronos).

1st turn was all runs, with Harod going into Hide and Evangeline casting Blessing.

I kept Drak C back with Ayl a little in front of him, Faust and Harod Pushed forward on each flank. The lights Kept Eva and Dereck to rear with Kronen and Khain pushing forward, all advancing to center. 

Khaine charged Faust who didn't defend so that Ayl could use Mimic damage to copy damage back onto Khaine. Faust then used Hakkai Zangetsu, and killed Khaine.

Harod had got around the Back of the Lights by this time (he can run 16" !!) however before he could get to Eva (his mark  ) She used Vision to drop his Hide power and then he was charged by Dereck and one shotted!!

Next Eva Buffed Kronen with Holy Armour and he engaged Faust, dropping him to 3 hit points!
I took a risk and attacked Kronen with Ayl to try to get Doom on him. I rolled just enough to do 1 pt of damage, but he resisted Doom

Dark C advanced a little closer and took some shots but had little impact. In an Attempt to remove doom from the game, Ayl became the focus of the main melee in the centre. Dereck joied the combat doing some damage to Ayl. Ayl made another attempt at Dooming Kronen but Failed to do any Damage. Kronen then finished her off. Dark C advanced and engaged Dereck and after a few turns Dark C proved the better by killing Dereck ( although now Dark C only had 5 hit points left! )

At this point it was Faust on 3 hit points, His fight with Kronen was long, He dropped Kroned to 14 hit points before Kronen finally killed him. While Kronen and Faust duked it out Dark C Charged Eva in an attempt to get rid of her annoying buffs!!! However after 3 turns he failed to hit her even once!!! By this time Faust had died and Kronen move up to engage Dark C and help out Eva. Just as Kronen arrived, Dark C Finaly landed a blow on Eve dropping her in one shot. However, the very next turn Kronen landed a blow , killing Dark C and ending the game.


(Just as a side note, 5 times my opponant needed to roll a 10 to hit me. He made the roll 3 of those times!!!)

Sounds likea brutal game.  The Dark faction seems to have some very risky tactics involved, but should they work I'd imagine they'd pay off.

This sounds like a viscious fight scene at the end of a movie! damn, that is too cool.

I had my first match last... Friday, was it? My friend and I using two starters, I played Dark.
I tried to get Kronen headfirst with Chesire, in an attempt to down him in a one-two with his Ki and Ayl's mirror damage, but failed to hit him with Chesire (Ayl gave him a tough one with mirror damage, though).
Wounded and vulnerable (since I blew my action counters), I tried to clear away to a nearby elevation, knowing that Kronen wouldn't be able to follow suit. My plan was to scour them with ranged attacks, but it all fell to a point where I couldn't run for it and attack at hte same time.  Seeing that the game was going to a stalemate, I charged, and got my ass whupped. Ah, rotten luck. Good fun, though, for just 2 miniatures a side...

I am currently painting my figs, it's taking me a lot since I never painted any before. I'm almost done with Harod, when I finish some I'll post some photos.
