[Lord of Madness]

Hello. I'm Lord of Madness. I'm a first time poster. I live in the US, so Anima won't be coming out until March  , so I was wondering if any of you could answer a few questions I have, just to whet my appetite for this game?

1) I know that there are 20 different character categories to choose from for character creation. Could you tell me what a few of them are?

2)I noticed that you can choose from a number of martial arts styles for your characters as well. What are some of them like?

3) What are some of things you can do with Ki Domains?

4) As for magic, its pretty clear what you can do with some of the 11 different paths (Air, Water, Fire, and Earth in particular), but what about paths like Essence and Light magic (I'm assuming Light magic involves things like healing, but does it involve anything else in particular)?

5) One last question. I know you can play supernatural entities in the game. What types of supernatural entities can you play?

Sorry if I asked too many questions in one post. Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There are 20 martial arts; 10 basics (like Kung Fu or Aikido) and 10 advanced / supernatural ones (Selene, Asakusen...). You can combine them to create your on personal style.

3) What are some of things you can do with Ki Domains?

Is quite extensive... from inhuman skills, like run above the water or cut fireballs with your sword, to advanced combat tecnics (that you can create by your own).

4) As for magic, its pretty clear what you can do with some of the 11 different paths (Air, Water, Fire, and Earth in particular), but what about paths like Essence and Light magic (I'm assuming Light magic involves things like healing, but does it involve anything else in particular)?

Light involve all positive energies, not only healing (in fact, other magic paths like creation are far better for healing), but it also has light attacks, shields...

5) One last question. I know you can play supernatural entities in the game. What types of supernatural entities can you play?

In fact, the "main" setting is for human players (or nephilins ones), but in the DM section are some non-human entities as well as rule to create your own races.

1) What are some of the 8 categories of psionic powers.

2) Its been mentioned that you can play a supernatural race called the Nephilim. I'm assuming that they have some supernatural powers specific to them. Do they? If so, what might some of them be?

3) Can you mix and match abilities/character concepts in anima (For example, could you play a martial artist who also happens to be a sorcerer)?

Telekinesis, Telepathy, Pryrokinesis, Cryokinesis, Physical improvement, Energy control...

They are not exactly a supernatural race; they are humans who where born without soul, so ancient spirits (6 different kinds in the basic book) took over them. Of course, they have some special skills.

3) Can you mix and match abilities/character concepts in anima (For example, could you play a martial artist who also happens to be a sorcerer)?

Yes; you can be a martial artist with Ki, magic, physic powers... or all them at the same time. In that matter, there is no restriction.

Sorry... We really can't answer you to that. It is already out here in Spain, but is FFG who could give you a more accurate answer to that.

The GM screen isn't even up on their site as far as upcomming products go, and their most recent catalog only lists the RPG core book, the Shadows of Omega non-collectible card game, and the first wave of Minis & the Starters.

If anyone's interested, I found out from FFG that the Director's Screen will be out in the US during the summer of this year.

They didn't say anything else. They just said it'd be out in the summer.
