What's going down in the world of Hell Dorado? I am afraid that if the English rules are not out soon that the game will die a death and that would be a real shame.

Well as you can see from Cipher responses "it's being worked on"  I guess that there is a danger HD could die in the transition but as it's never been really available in N.America it's not that much of a problem(for us Yanks). I'm interested in the Game & hope that when Cipher does launch that things will take off & availability will spark interest.I think the worst thing Cipher could do is rush a small release & then have no back up to keep releases & support flowing on a regular basis. But then again I'm a Civil Servant not a Game Publisher,so whatta I know  OD |

Well, Hell Dorado is just getting ramped up in my area. A few of us are hunting down models and ordering overseas.
I think Cipher is being very wary of what happened with the release of Malifaux. It is a cool game. But it had a ton of earrata right after release and has huge inventory issues right after Gencon. Don't get me wrong, I like Malifaux and I play it occasionally.
I am looking forward to the US release of HD and am well-willing to bear with it so Cipher can do it right. Hell Dorado is a cool game with frankly amazing models. When it does hit, it will be huge success!

In an e-mail from Joel today he said: Just so you know, we have solidified things with Asmodee and are underway with Hell Dorado. We are just waiting for the master casts/molds to actually start producing the physical product. Thought you'd like to know.  So yes things look as if they've begun moving forward again. |

Excellent!
I will be interested in seing how they package the product. For example, I could use an extra of a few of the Sarrasin box set models. I could see fielding a second Hashashin, multiple Pillars of Faith, or even a second Hunting Panther. I probobly do not need a second entire starter box however.
