I`m just letting you know that HD is doing quite fine in Poland. We have a group of people in the city of Wroclaw, which plays it regularly. I have begun my tale with Saracens, here is the first mini I have painted: Hope you like it

Next I am working on Salah ad-Din, but it may take me 2-3 weeks to get this one finished. So stay tuned, I will post some progress soon.

I haven`t thought there would be an update here so soon, but I am half way down with Salah! Just now on the photo I saw green dots on the armoury. I'll get it fixed tonight. Criticism and comments as always are welcome sea.man

I might add some "brown stuff" on the scroll

Sala ad-Din is finished It was a real pleasure to paint, I haven`t had such an enjoing mini-painting like with this one - not pretty sure why, too hard to explain. But anyway great mini The painting is similar to lancier family photo, together 95 pts:

Those are awesome miniatures. The look great I like the detail on the minis and nice blending. I also like the bases. The look really cool. I am not to familiar with the minis game effects, since I am relatively new to the game. I only have the two starter decks and quick start rules. I will be doing my 1st demo on the 26th of Feb.

thank you mriverakc! I am not familar with their abilities too, but those are great miniatures and that`s why I bought them, well I think almost bought all HD minis I like: I still have to get Saracen`s starter box, but I will have to wait who is the HD distributor in Poland. Luckily there is some progress on Berbers: On the photo I have noticed, that shades in some places have to be tided a bit. Btw. funny that you don`t such things in real, but they are so visible on th photos

Ah, you paint your shading? I have found a good khaki/brown/sandy effect is to use white or Bone white or khaki or off white and tint it with sepia inks and it makes a very nice, non-linear fade into the dark recessed shading. I am no good and painting in my shading on my saracens.
