This is the first mini from my immortals force that I've finished.  I tried to push the boat out a bit, trying to achieve effects that I've not attempted before, such as the sheer cloth on the pants, rain effects both on the model and in the water on the base as well as mixing up my use of gloss and matte varnish, using gloss on the wet areas.

Its fortuitous timing that space cowboy has posted his work on Chan Lee, and his de ciphered on skin tones yesterday.  I too went to great lengths to find the correct 'oriental' skin tone, although I've added a little grey to the mix as Chan Lee is a dammed/deceased hybrid and i wanted to bring out the green pigment a little too.

Just for interest(and so i'll remember at a later date) my skin was:-
Basecoat: 2parts scorched earth, 2parts snakebite leather, 1part codex grey
next three layers add in 1part elf flesh.
highlights are the 3rd layer mix with skull white added in half parts to the mix sucessively.

cheeks have had a dab of scab red added to the skin mix to give colour.
lips have had a dab of liche purple added to the skin mix.

Comments, criticisms, questions etc always welcome.
Stay safe...... or as safe as you can wandering round hell.

Fantastic result! The blue and white is a really striking colour scheme.
Will you be using the sheer looking fabric across the whole company?

That's the plan.  i wanted it to look like it was continually raining in this part of hell, a la the images of the rice paddy fields in south east Asia. I've got, chen, a hybrid blade master, da wenti, 4 peasants and a soul carrier as well as a selection of lemures to paint up so that"ll take me a while.
Cheers for the encouragement it means a lot coming from someone who paints as well as you do.
