nobody likes my Andre
ok... well I just have to move on with different HD minis then... here are djins I painted in 2 evenings. I hope will like those two. Big fun to paint, very pleasing for painter I wanted them to suit my warband Khemri brown - scale green painting scheme.

There's strong vision in those giant blades there - very well executed. They have a very painterly feel, if you know what I mean. As for the rest, tying him to the base like you've done works extremely well. I'm not a fan of the sculpt but you made it work so kudos!

Thaks Mat, I am glad you like it
i admit I am happy haw the blades have turned out.
I still didn't have a chance to play with, but I hope he will deal serious damage with those 'sharp hands'.
Ciao!

Hello my friends! I have managed to finish another officer and a panther for Saracens. I think now I have got about 400 points. That gives me lots of possibilities to try on battlefield
I also think that those were last Saracens painted this year. Time to move to Immortals

Yeah, nice paintings! Very clean and accurate on details.
I usually prefer dark colors for bases to enhance colors on minis but your sandy bases work pretty well here.
(no eyes for the panther?

You are right
I saw it also latter, after I did the photo
Now a bit of show off - my Saracens won 1st place at a competition at Throne of Angels blog
http://throneofangels.blogspot.de/2012/03/cipher-studios-force-painting.html
It was not only sponsored by Cipher Studios, but also Kai and David judged it

I came in second and I have to say that the better man won. Congratulations on a well-deserved win!

I know it was a while since I have posted something here from my Hell Dorado collection, but I hope you will enjoy this one. The finished Immortals:
My both Hell Dorado armies together:
I painted them all at the same time. It took me about 80 hours. If you would like to see step-by-step tutorial from painting them , go to Chest of Colors web page :
