Hello  Smiley

Here is my first stab at painting Helldorado figures.  I look forward to painting more - he was a challenge, as he seemed smaller and more realistically proportioned than the figures I'm used to painting (Rackham Confrontation).

Sorry about the white background.  My next figure will probably be either Angelo Casaviecchi and his pet or Abd-Al-Rahman Ibn Muldjam, as I have those two assembled.  I'm keen to paint some more immortals though, as I feel the colour scheme could be improved - Chan Lee is a good start, but I think the green could be toned down a bit.

Comments etc appreciated.

Thanks for looking!  Kiss

really nice!

the green is very realistic don't change it.

I just can't see details on the hand but it certainly due to the light.

I think when it comes to green you should add more contrast!
Are you going to paint the eyes?
My favourite part is the skin, which looks realistic Cheesy

good looking mini.  I like the way the scars look.  How did you get that effect?

Thanks for the feedback, all. Smiley

The scars on his chest and face were glazed with a more pinkish-red version of the original skintone, which I thinned down using water and Vallejo Model Colour Matt Medium (the latter helped make the colour more transparent whilst not thinning it too much).  That was applied in a few layers, to try and blend it with the normal skintone.  I then mixed some of the glaze with the final highlight of the skin and highlighted the scars to give it a bit more contrast.

He's not Bruce Lee. Honest.

Even if he has Entered the Dragon (or, in this case, allowed it to enter him). I wonder if I should get one and paint him with black trousers with a yellow stripe down one side. Or was it yellow with a black stripe down one side. Oh now I'll have to go and look it up.......  Grin

He looks great dude, love the skin especially. The only piece of constructive criticism I'd venture is to put a bit more contrast to his face, seems a bit lost there. Overall very nice though.
