I had my first game of Helldorado for 18 months today! It was great to play again!
I snagged a  win thanks to Prince Tarik - that dude is rock hard! Very close though as K_O_S's demons nearly had me on toast. Darn that Demon of Gluttony and his attractive ladyfriend!
During the week I dragged out the Saracens that lurked in my "to do box" and attacked them.

I wasn't happy with the original basing any longer - you can see that on the Pillar with halberd, the Hassasin and one of the two Blessed warriors - it was too flat and boring so I used  some slate on the last couple (rebasing one) and was much happier with the effect. It's a pretty standard HD base style but I do like it  Cheesy

Dibbukim

Blessed Warriors

Pillar and Hassasin

None of these are complete but they should be soon.

Thanks all!
If you are  doing Lava bases may I recommend the purchase of a bottle of Vallejo Clear Orange - it helps a lot!

I wish pictures were bigger, but they look very good. I like the contrast especially on the skin and trousers Smiley

Quite classical, but good color choice.
I like your blue-green that give them some unique touch.

I'd also like to see them closer.

I'd just like to echo that I love your bases. In fact, I'm feeling a bit jealous.......

They are quite easy to do. Is it the lava that interests you? I could post a little mini tute if anyone wants it.

Great paint job.  I like the alternate color scheme that you used. They look really great I wished that I had thought to use those colors.  I am still in the emulating stage of my painting.  I am not ready to be original.

I say go for it.  I'd even love to repost it on my blog at penandlead.com
