Can you give more than 1 order per activation?

I've looked through the quickstart rules and the old English translation and I can't find an instance where it says you can't use more than 1 order per activation. However, I can't find an example that shows more than 1 order being used in an activation. For example, could I use Vae Victus and Vae Soli on the same model? Do any of the veteran players know?

First you have to separate "giving an order" and receiving one.

There's no limit to the amount of order a unit can receive (so a unit can receive Vae Soli, and then Vae victis in the same turn), but it should respect the text of the order.

Given the nature of the order there can be some limitation to the amount of order a unit can give :
- it could be simply written in the order description if it's limited or not and when exactly you can give the order. Vae Soli states clearly that you cannot use it more than once at a time.
- "free" orders : you can give it as much as you want as long as you respect its description.
- passive orders : work the same as free orders but only during the unit activation (the unit that give the order).
- active or exhausting orders : a unit can only give one of these orders by turn (it's its action in fact).

Lastly don't forget that a maverick unit can not receive any order other than the order it gives itself.

Hope it helps.
