So many of you have such nice pics in the posts themselves, they show up big and are eay to see... I ended up having tiny thumbnails that need to be clicked on.   How do you post so they show up properly>?

Personally I am correcting my pictures (for the size of them) with the software gimp :
http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
Then I click on "image" and "scale and size of the picture" and I bring the photo to a size of 300 by 400 pixels approx.

Then I home on a French site (I'm French) :
http://www.hebergeur-images.fr/mesimages.php

It remains only to post.

Get the url of the imagefile and simply add an img tag around that url like this:

Code:
[img] www.mypicture.com/mypicture.jpg [/img]

to get the url of an image right click on it and choose 'properties' (ie) or 'image info'/'copy image adress' (firefox) or 'copy image adress' (safari). Hope that helps - I choose imageshack.us to upload files usually.

I use photobucket to host my photos for free, then use the methods listed above.

Me too. It's quite easy to use. You can add Albums, upload the pictures to it and the post the link here.

I use Google's Picasa.  However, any online photo storage will work.

Once you upload to your preferred online photo storage, you'll get a URL where your photo is stored.  Each different storage option shows this differently.

Once you get the URL of the image, simply paste that URL here, and put the image brackets at the front and back.
