Hi all, my name is Bob and I just jumped in while demoing Pulp City right next to the Helldorado demo table.  I did my first demo Thursday morning of Gen Con, played one starter game Thursday night, and became "Helldorado Bob" (thanks Beermonkey!) and did almost all of the demoing for Cipher all day Friday. I'm now an expert on the new Westerners and Demons starters.

I'm still a little unsure about some things like concentrating and exhausting actions, but I'm sure I'll get.

Loved the models for a long, long, time, but until this week at Gen Con I never once thought I'd own any of the models!

I'm glad I got to share in the rebirth of the game at Gen Con this year.

Hey, occa here I live in Sydney, I have every starter (went a little HD crazy) and about twenty five reinforcement boxes. I have finished Demons and Sarracens and I am currently working on a lava themed board. I hope to do some demos when I have finished it. I'll post some pictures when I get a camera that works. Oh and I am also waiting for english rules but more importantly english cards.

Cheers,

I've been drooling over the HellDorado mins since they first appeared on the scene but I could never convince anyone locally to pick it up when a stateside release was always uncertain.  I was thrilled to see Cipher take over the rights and even happier when I got to buy two starters at Gencon.  Game seems like a lot of fun and since I think some other Austin-ers picked up some sets of their own we may already have a little community on the grow here.  I'll buy any new demon or immortal minis that get released.  The sooner the better.

Hello,

My name is Ronny and I'm from Luxembourg, currently living in Belgium. I play all the factions (some Saracenes are missing). I'm really happy that Hell Dorado gets a second chance, as it is a really good game with an undepleted setting. I hope just that miniatures don't move to far away from the original style (I like the realistic style).

Cheers

Hi my name Rick AKA Mahrdol I live in south Florida (USA). I have a bunch of models because I think they are great models. I started collecting these models because I loved Le Retour des Dieux miniatures by Asmodee. I currently play Warmachine/Hordes, AT-43 and now that HD is going english I plan on trying to push the game in my area. I am getting some of the miniatures painted now and I plan on playing Sarrasins, Immortals and Demon armes with a bunch of mercenaries. I can't wait!

Hello everybody,

I'm Percutator (or Néo Sinister), I'm french and I live near Reims (champagne's capital). I nearly have all faction (only demons are missing), and, as everyone here, I'm really happy to see that Helldorado will reborn from its ashes. It's the best wargame I've ever played.

I hope you a good luck (and don't forget us, we also need new models !!)

New to these forums, not really new to the game. Bought a Sarrascens box and added a few minis (18 total). Never really got a chance to play, but am in love with the sculpts. I think I am a good enough painter these days to do the models justice.

Our FLGS in Boise, Idaho (USA) just got the new starter boxes in and there are a few folks excited to start playing-

Thanks Cipher for taking this on!

Hey all,

I'm Chris and live in Northern VA. Was an early adopter to the original French release, and have pretty much every reinforcement box for Westerners and Sacarens, as well as most of the Mercenaries as well. Am glad to see the game is finally trickling into US stores, and hope to dust off my models and start playing again Smiley

Hello my name is Joseph and I just picked up the game, after looking at the models for about a week at the  store's (where I work) new release section. I have loved the range for awhile, but was a little worried about jumping in to yet another French made game (I have had my heart broken before-Rackham and Kraken). 3 of my friends and local gamers came in to the shop yesterday and played a game. I chatted with them about a lack of rulebook and how that further made me uneasy about the game.

After the conversation and watching the games played I was hooked. The mechanics look good and the mini's are without doubt beautiful sculpts. I was debating Immortals or Westerners, all of the factions are represented with players at our store (The three all have 2nd factions and one of our other friends jumped in yesterday with two as well). While I pondered my choice, one of the guys already playing suggested that I play Westerners, so that he could buy the Immortals (in preparation of the Naga re-release). Being a good employee, I let my friend make a purchase  Wink.

So naturally I chose Demons and bought the starter and two blisters available, plus the Lemure A pack. It made sense as the friend with Demons will be having a baby on Monday (Congrats Andy!!!!) and will be out for a month or two of gaming.

Demons it is and I can't wait for the next two Angelic/Demonic Officers to expand the army!
