Hi, here are some pics of my warbands. I got an old saracen startebox for a bargain, started adding further saracens and now I'm working on the Lost&Damned and some mercenaries. I hope'you'll like my pics. I'm always looking for critics and comments how to further improve. Enough said, here are the pics:

I like much your Saracens (even if they are less colorful than mine). Your work is fine, the colors are simple and I appreciate so much metal (bronze owls well).

What I like most are the armoury on the blessed warriors and pillar of faith and the golem's skin - very nice variations of colors!
What I don't like is the green guy - the skin reminds me of nothing and the transitions are too rough.
I think you achieve better effects with true metallics, than NMM - but you have to learn it somewhere (me too  Roll Eyes)

Yes indeed, this was was my first try on NMM on the Saracens. But I'll get back to TMM on my Lost and Damned, and try some weathering with inks and washes.

Finaly, the Alchimist for my Saracens is ready. I really love the sculpt but the paint job was driving me nuts. Every now and then one of the smoke parts or the raised hand was breaking and I had to reapir it several times.

And a Retiari and a Squamata Warrior were finished, too. BEcause I wasn't satisfied with the NMM on my Saracens I got back to paint with TMM and Inks and I like the result.

So, there are still some miniatures I want for my Saracens, even though I haven't played Hell Dorado yet. Lancer, Dibbukim, Tarik and the the two Djinns. And hopefully in about two weeks will be the rulebook available. Hell yeah!

After  I had to reinstall Windows on my computer I used the time sitting and waiting for install progress to paint my Corvus Tormentors. Some details will be changed. I noticed them , after I shot the picture (rivets and teeth)

wow such big difference in painting  Huh I hate the alchemist, but the lost look great! why is that Cheesy ?
You returned to true metallics, which is good. I would only recommend to highlight the stripes a bit on Corvus Tormentors.

Yes, as I wrote, the alchemist was driving me crazy with all the small details and parts. And I'm not realy satisfied with the result. With the next miniatures I'm going to keep at the TMM and washes, bringing far better results.

Thank you, and yes: The Goon is awesome! Unfortunenately he is quite unknown in Germany. But I try to spread the cult of the almighty Goon within my acquaintances Smiley

Again, some minor details to be done I noticed while taking the picture.

Further big base support for the saracens: Husaym al Din. I realy love the sculpt and it was fun painting it. Hope you like it, too.
