First off, I apologize if other forum members have already answered a dozen similar threads already this week. I'm a big fan of table top miniature games and I've recently watched some Anima Tactic demo videos online. The game has caught my interest enough for me to at least purchase a few starter models.
So, what I'd like to do is buy enough figures to give a decent demo game. Would that be two 2 vs. 2 games and thus four figures? Or do you feel 3 vs. 3 is a better first taste? Also, which two factions and which figures do you recommend I start with? As I find them all interesting visually, at this point it's more of a matter of what makes an interesting and balanced beginner game. No one in my area that I know of plays this game. I'd like to introduce it to my friends on a night where they feel like trying something new. Y'know?
I guess if I was asked which models do I find immediately jumping out at me, I'd say maybe ...Saint Hazael, Odin Goldsmith, Claire, Macbeth, Cordelia Rosalind, Kyler, Maximo, ....
But really, feel free to recommend any set of models that would be interesting. Thanks for tips you can offer to a beginner!
p.s. Oh, there wouldn't happen to be a Anima Tactics podcasts? I've listened to just about most podcasts for other games such as Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Malifaux, Warmachine/Hordes, and Firestorm Armada. Would be nice to hear some talk about this game. Helps pass the time while I paint.
