Just wondering if you guys here at Cipher might have any more info about when we might be able to expect a complete, hardcopy rule book for Anima Tactics. I think that's probably one of the things preventing this game from really picking up steam, and with Malifaux having just come out (and apparently having a gorgeous rulebook--I haven't seen it yet), and Alkemy finally putting their rules up as PDF, competition for the skirmish-level games is getting pretty tight.

As Honig states we have recently sent the book files to the printer. We are thinking that the book should be available in the US in December at some point, unless of course something unforeseen happens, possibly even sooner. It is a hard bound 200 page full color book and should compliment the RPG book nicely on the shelf.

Well, hopefully December! January will be mighty expensive for me if this book comes out then, too, since my other game is putting out their second edition in January, followed by lots of new releases... Wink

I think once I get a hardcopy book, I will try to get a few other folks into it. It's a little hard to generate too much interest in the group I usually play with without full rulebooks; they're just picky like that.

Either way, looking forward to it, and I'll definitely pick it up. Thanks for the info.

I have my sights set on picking up a copy. I am getting into Anima more and more, and a full rulebook will help in selling the concept to the fickle bunch of gamers I hang with.

I was looking on the Anima downloads section and there's an error message that states that the content can't be found, is this on purpose?  Do those of us new to Anima need to wait until December for the HC rulebook to come out?
