Hey, I will do my best to update this thread with the things I'm painting. In preparation for Hell Dorado Demo Day at Games and Stuff, I'm painting up a box o' demons this week! (My partner in crime will be painting up his Saracens, too.)

Here's Asaliah:

I decided to go with glowy blue bases for these guys. (And yes, for those who nitpick, I know the height extension from the rock is *technically* illegal...but as these are demo pieces, and will be the things that people see before buying, I figured it's important that they look totally badass.) Any and all commentary is welcome, except mean things of course. XD

Oh, also, I'm Sarah. I like painting minis. XD

Nice work there.  I like the blue on the rocks that represent some sort of magical lay lines or something.

Painting looks done well as well.  When you take a picture, though, try not to use the flash as the color gets washed out, which it looks like happened in your pictures.

Thanks for sharing!!!

Nice.  The base needs a little more work [in my opinion] to cover the blank spots left around some the the foliage.

Thanks! I did not actually use a flash, though my painting light might be too intense. I used an iPhone to take the picture.

The spots on the base are where static grass goes after I clear coat it. Unfortunately, I dropped her, so she needs a touch up before I clear coat. Sad

That's probably it, then.  If you take a piece of tracing paper or baking paper and hold over your light, it will diffuse that light so it's no so sharp.

Good work, again, though!

Hey, here's my Greater Damned One of Pride (also being called round my house as "meatman" or "bodyworks exhibit"):

The source glow on his underneath is much harder because he is textured.

I tried a little bit of pseudo-reflection in his mirror there:

Now onto the Damned One of Pride...

Wow, the pictures are much better!!! Notice that white washout is gone?

He looks awesome and great painting.  I live the "reflection" you did as well.  Nice work!

Here are my finished Damned Ones of Pride. I think they turned out pretty well. Sorry if the photo is bad again. Sad When the whole army is done, I'll take *actual* photos with a camera, in a lightbox, like they probably deserve.

In other news, Asaliah is in the simple green bath. But! It's for a good cause. Toodling around the Reaper wall at work, I found a vulture demon that had the most amazing wings...

Very good and solid paint jobs! It must be a pleasure to play with or against them Smiley
They look nice and my favourite are the bases.

Thanks! Right now they are less of a pleasure to play with 'cause half of em aren't attached yet...Asaliah is still in the midst of being painted, so she was kinda falling off her base yesterday. Sad

But hopefully people enjoyed looking at them nonetheless! Cheesy
