Thought I'd post a few starting photos of my WIP Necropolis themed board to tie in with the Hell Dorado demo I'm running on June 2'nd.

I'm fortunate to have a friend who works in a print shop so every few weeks he's able to take the gatorboard scraps lying around a cut them to size for me. I've substituted(where needed)  and added a little extra(for photo appearance) terrain but this is my basic set-up for the "Calyx of Skulls" scenario from pg. 210 of the rulebook.

I wanted a dreary but not completely monotone look to the terrain so I used 3 main colors; P3 Greatcoat Gray, Citadel Dheneb Stone, and Citadel Graveyard Earth. I have more terrain I'm working on and will post individual tile shots as I progress  but for now any feedback and suggestions would be appreciated.

I have ideas for nearly all the  Necropolis and  Howling Plains terrain pieces. My plan is to keep the Howling Plains in the same color scheme and ultimately create a 3X6 (I made the board 3'X3' rather than the standard 30"X30") board that transitions from a Necropolis into the Howling Plains, but that's a long way off. Far now here's another angle shot.

That looks great!

The terrain element in the bottom central board section, what is it? It looks kind of like a bone levitating.

Thanks. It's a "Bone Obelisk" from Armorcast. I use it as my Soul Accumulator. I'll post a closer shot once I've finished it but for now you can check it out here
