Aztecs in Hell Dorado?

While thinking about Balgin's post in the kickstarter thread (http://cipher-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=775.msg5620#msg5620) and the mention of Mayan / Aztec warriors in the underworld - along with their priests and priestesses of course. I thought yeah I could go for that and then I found this picture of a Aztec eagle warrior on wikipedia



and thought OMG it's the Corvus tormentor

maybe they're here already

The background seems to tell us that Corvus are more some kind of roman.
But I must admit your picture is quite close from the actual models.

My understanding is that the Squamata where once human but have dwelt in Hell so long they have changed at least thats suggested by the fiction attached to the nomad scout. I don't have a problem with introducing new human factions to the  game I just don't understand why the Aztecs would be Gorrilas as some concept scetches showed the Americas have no indiginous great apes so why? Of course it could be a nod to Dust and Hell Boy both feature Apes,  because thats the first thing you do if your a mad Nazi scientist watch King Kong and think we could make some of those only lets replace the hands with power gloves.

I like the idea of the Gorillas from hell joining the lost factions. Doesen't seem like much of a stretch that they could adapt to hell but I am on the same page as you about them being part of the Aztecs from South America. Maybe a Pygmy/gorilla faction from Africa would be much better.
